Right along with muffin top,1 fist bump,2 and m-commerce,3 this year social media and tweet officially entered the English language. The words were among more than 150 others added to Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary's 2011 edition. The hallowed Oxford English Dictionary Online (OED) and ever-popular game Scrabble also recognized social media-related terms and networks.
