Candace Jaramillo, APP
President

Candace is the Accounts Payable Manager at Liberty Oilfield Services in Denver, Colorado. She has over 30 years of AP experience, including 15 years in supervisory roles. Throughout her career, she has been dedicated to raising the profile of AP.

In addition to achieving her IOFM certification as a P2P manager, she is an active member of IOFM’s Advisory Panel and is a certified brain-based coach. Her passion is leadership and process improvement.

Candace is excited about the Southwestern Region IOFM Chapter and encourages anyone in AP or a related field to join the group!

Jessica Connor, CPPB
Vice President

Jessica is the Purchasing Specialist for the City of Longview, Texas, and has 12-years of experience in the government administration industry, She is a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) and a Certified Procurement Professional (NGIP-CPP), working regularly with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

Jessica focuses on process improvement and quality control and has implemented financial and e-procurement software. With her blended accounting and procurement experience, she brings a unique perspective to the financial operations world. 

She believes that when the departments in financial operations work together as partners, an organization gains a competitive advantage and boosts its overall missions and goals.

Paula Wood, APM
Program Planning Assistant

Paula is the Accounts Payable Manager at NCH Corporation, a global industrial, commercial, and institutional maintenance products and services provider located in Irving, Texas.
She has more than 30 years of experience in AP, and she is especially interested in the implementation of PCards and automation. 

In her many years of experience in financial operations, Paula has always been dedicated to continuous improvement and bring her AP operation to the next level.

She looks forward to exchanging ideas and best practices with her professional peers in AP and P2P.

Tanya Lyons, APM
Secretary

Tanya is the Accounts Payable Manager at Christus Health in Southern New Mexico, a not-for-profit health system dedicated to serving the community. She has 21 years of experience in AP and her passion is processing 1099s and learning about tax compliance, laws, and regulations.

In her many years of experience in financial operations, Tanya has been dedicated and passionate about process improvement and training to help her team succeed and grow.

She believes that being a chapter leader and communicating with the membership will offer her an additional opportunity to share ideas regarding processes, internal controls, compliance, and regulations.

LaToya Henry, MBA, CAPM
Membership Chair

LaToya is the Associate Director and Accounts Payable Operations Lead for Corebridge Financial, an affiliate of AIG. Her experience of over 20 years spans the industries of aircraft services, import/export, energy, and insurance, within both the public and private sectors.

Throughout her career, she has served various roles in tax accounting, AP, AR/Billing/Cash Application, treasury management and forex trading, debt and restructure accounting, MTM/derivatives, and IT finance.

She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Houston-Main and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Houston-Victoria.



ReBecca Poulsen, CCE
AP/AR Solutions Liaison

ReBecca Poulsen is the Accounts Payable Manager at the Kimball Equipment Company, an aggregate crushing equipment sales company located in Salt Lake City, Utah. She serves on various committees for the National Association of Credit Management (NACM) and the Intermountain Credit Education League (ICEL) in Utah. 

Six years ago, after a 30-year career in Accounts Receivable and Credit & Collections, she transitioned to the AP side of financial operations.

Having worked in both areas, she enjoys AR/AP problem solving. Some of her favorite challenges are: Why does this not balance? Why does the invoice not match? Why is this payment late? How can we fix this?

Patti Keller, MBA
Inter-Chapter Liaison

Patti Keller is Vice President of AP and Procurement at Safe Harbor Marinas in Dallas, Texas, the largest and most diversified marina owner and operator network of boatyards, technicians, and marine artisans in the world.

She has 25 years of experience in accounting, finance, management, procure-to-pay and reconciliations. Her passions are training and development, team leadership, and building operational efficiencies.

Patti looks forward to learning and networking with the Southwestern Region chapter members as well as connecting with other chapters as the inter-chapter liaison.

We welcome you to join us to benchmark, share best practices, and stay on top of new developments in financial operations.

Our quarterly meetings are held virtually and are accessible nationwide and globally.
While our chapter meetings are focused on Accounts Payable, all financial operations professionals are welcome to attend. We will discuss the relationship between AP and AR, and also address how AP interacts with other operations.
