Q. We have several departments that have been ordering things online with a credit card not realizing they are a foreign vendor. Then we run into the vendor not providing a W-8, so we have to pay the 30% additional to the IRS ourselves. The only way we find out is when the international fee hits our credit card.I was hoping there were tips or ways to tell from a website that the vendor is a foreign vendor. A.
