Q. This question regards a relocation payment to an individual who never started employment with my company, Company A. He was eligible for a relocation package in 2021, which is managed by Company B. Company B made the payment to the individual, but he did not start work and both Company A and Company B tried to recover the payment without success. I reimbursed Company B.
