Q. We sent a 1099NEC to a person who provide a service called car seat technician stipend for car set check. They are saying that they should have gotten a 1099 Misc. Can you please confirm which 1099 we should have sent them. A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax expert) If they were providing a service then 1099-NEC would be the proper form. 115054
