Q. For an organization that is a 501c3, that issued 1042S and 1042 in a prior year for foreign vendors paid. Is it required to submit a 1042 the following year if there are no 1042S forms being issued? A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax expert) No, see the instructions to Form 1042.
