Q. Our company is a co-op and we are going to receive a check relating to the Pandemic Market Volatility Assistance Program (PMVAP). Our company will distribute the PMVAP amount to the farmers per USDA requirements, which we anticipate will be done in December. We are not a government agency, but I heard that the PMVAP payment might need to be reported on 1099-G instead of 1099-MISC.
