Designed for: The Order-to-Cash Specialist (AOCS) Certification Program is designed for individuals responsible for executing any part of the O2C process.
Course Description
While every organization has an O2C process (fulfillment of orders, assignment of credit lines, applying cash received and collecting invoices that are past due), most are challenged by operational walls between sales, fulfillment, billing and AR. This course is designed for those looking to break down the silo thinking that hampers the performance of these groups. This course is also a must for any practitioner in a managed O2C process looking for peer-tested best practices on how to better integrate and optimize the end-to-end process.

No degree = 3 yrs related work experience; 2-year degree = 2 yrs related work experience; 4-year degree = 1 yr related work experience
Establishing and Managing Internal Controls for the Purchasing and Payables Process—from the Sales Order to Credit Management, Customer Master File, Fulfillment, Billing, Cash Application, Account and Regulations, and Collection of Past Due Invoices. Access to the course lasts for one year after date of purchase. Since it is self-study, learners can move at their own pace, but IOFM recommends a timeline of about 3 months to move through the material. Total learning hours for this course are estimated at 15 to 20.
The self-study program (accessed via the IOFM.com E-Learning Center) comes with access to the e-textbook, on-demand 5.5-hour training video, practice quiz and 3 attempts at the final exam (100 multiple-choice questions, 90 minutes, graded pass/fail). IOFM does not offer CEUs for Certification classes. We know that earning your Certification takes a lot of time! However, the nature of continuing education is that it is additional training you do after you are certified in order to keep up with the standards set by the program. Therefore, earning your credentials does not count towards your CEU requirement. If you already hold an IOFM Certification, you may count subsequent live Certification classes for 6 CEUs towards that previously-held Certification.
Most updated version of Google Chrome, a desktop/laptop computer with a functioning speakers and a strong Internet connection. If accessing from a work computer, some companies' VPN/security settings can impede course performance (visit the Help Center for resolutions).
15 Continuing Education Units per year (approx. 15 hours). Renewal is free as long as CEUs are logged before the Certification expires. Learn more.

Judy also championed training for her staff, investing in the team earning the IOFM’s first AP Departmental Certification designation. Judy is a globally sought-after subject matter expert, trainer, and speaker. She has authored and helped develop the IOFM’s AP online learning center and is a co-founder and SME for the IOFM AP Certification program.
