Q. We are a holder of an accounts receivable credit balance for Company ABC. Based on research with applicable Secretary of State business searches, we learned Company ABC changed its name and later merged into Company DEF. Company DEF is also a customer of ours and we still have contact with them. With the above information, I have the following questions:1) Does due diligence need to start with the original owner, Company ABC?
