Unclaimed funds due us but not listed online

Q. We have quite a few vendors contacting us in the state of Massachusetts for one of our companies regarding unclaimed funds due to us; not listed on MissingMoney. We are have been evaluating developing our own internal process and are wanting to know if there is any reason we cannot access records leveraging Freedom of Information Act ourselves?
