Q. My company received a W-9 form with the vendor legal name which is an individual name, DBA name/company name, Employee Identification Number and tax status of single member LLC. The vendor is 1099 reportable. Both legal and DBA names have a match status with the IRS TIN verification records. The DBA/company name starts with the last name of the individual. Based on the W-9 provided, the vendor will be 1099 reportable with first/last name of the individual and EIN.  Should my company still…
