Expense reimbursements through payroll?

Q. We currently pay expense reimbursements once a week via AP but we are strongly considering switching to paying expense reimbursements once or twice a month via payroll. What are the pros and cons of making this switch based on other organizations' experience and what are some of the challenges (if any) faced by those that pay expenses through payroll. We did some analysis and found a significant reduction in bank fees that would result from making this switch but are there any other benefits…
