Q. An employee uses their credit card to pay for a service that might normally be 1099 reportable by the company. An example would be an uber driver, a hotel rental or the lawn care person. Because it is a personal credit card a 1099-K would not be issued. The employee turns in the expense for reimbursement. Normally employee reimbursements are not reportable.
