Q. When uploading information into the IRIS template, is it required to use all capital letters and no lowercase? A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax experts) IRS Publication 5717, the IRIS Portal User Guide, doesn't mention any requirement to use all caps.  See Pub. 5717 on the IRS website at  https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p5717.pdf  and you may also want to phone the Help line at 866-455-7438, open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern time.   106268
