Q. I am confused on the LLC W9's that are marked S- corp, or C-corp If the payments were for services do I need to file a 1099 for that vendor? Do I exclude them from any 1099 reporting? A. (Answered by IOFM's third-party tax advisor) If an LLC marks that it is a corporation on the W-9, you apply the corporate rules to the LLC. In other words, treat it as you would treat any other corporation.  112995
