Q. Our university reimbursed an employee for a conference titled "Executive and Personal Life Coaching Services Workshop Retreat". Would the university have an obligation to issue a 1099 to the conference provider for services, assuming they were provided by an individual or applicable entity that wasn't exempt from 1099 reporting?
