IOFM.com Refund and Transfer Policy

Refunds, exchanges or transfers are issued at the IOFM’s sole discretion. We stand behind our products and services and strive to ensure that customers are satisfied as well. We handle refunds on a case-by-case basis with the goal of making our customers happy. We will always do our best to resolve issues fairly and reasonably.

Refund Policy

Applicable to all refunds

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. 
  • Requested partial refunds due to promotional offer price adjustments are not issued.
  • IOFM does not issue partial refunds for credit card payments – if approved, the entire original order will be refunded and a new order can be placed. 

Membership

  • You can request a refund within 30 days of receipt of payment.
  • If you used your membership to receive a discount on another product, you are no longer eligible for a refund on that year’s subscription.
  • Since the subscription term is one-year and we require payment in full for the entire year, we do not offer mid-year cancellations or partial refunds for membership. If you request a cancellation, we are happy to make a note in our records that you do not wish to renew at the end of your subscription period and will make sure the auto-renew functionality is disabled in your account.
  • If you remitted duplicate payments for your membership renewal, we are happy to extend your membership by an additional year if you let us know. Alternatively, a refund can be processed.

Certification Programs/Master Classes

  • To be eligible for a Certification refund, you must have not finished (or attempted to complete) any final exams or viewed/printed course material  
  • We will wait 30 days before refunding the order. 

Master Guides

  • To be eligible, you must not have viewed/printed the e-book.

Live Compliance Webinars

  • To cancel your registration for this event for a full refund, simply contact IOFM customer service at [email protected] (or call 207-842-5557) no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start of the event.
  • If you cannot attend due to scheduling (but it is less than 24 hours prior to scheduled start), you can access the full recorded event (which will not be eligible for NASBA CPE credit), or exchange for a future live compliance webinar. The full recorded event is typically emailed to all registrants within 48 hours of the webinar. Once the recording has been emailed to registrants, you are no longer eligible for exchange.

Transfer Policy

Membership

  • Membership can be transferred at anytime during an active subscription period. 
  • Please reach out to Customer Service at [email protected] to transfer membership to another person. If transferring to another individual at the company, please have the subscription-holder themselves reach out to approve the transfer and give the new account information (first name, last name, phone number, and email).
  • If this is not possible (for instance, the original subscription-holder has left company), IOFM will check before transferring that the Membership was purchased by the company and not by the individual. If the company can provide proof of purchase with the initial transfer request, this can expedite this step of the process. 

E-Learning Courses

To a different program:

  • You can request a transfer to a different program within 30 days of receipt of payment for certification programs or 10 days for Master Classes
  • To be eligible, you must have not finished (or attempted to complete) any final exams or viewed/printed course material

To a different person:

  • If the company purchased the certification programs, they are allowed to transfer them at any time within one year of purchase date.
  • For a program to be eligible for transfer, the original learner must have not finished (or attempted to complete) any final exam.
  • The purchaser should reach out to [email protected] to request the transfer. 
  • Once a learner achieves certification, it is theirs to keep whether or not they stay at the company that originally paid for it. Their enrollment is considered “used" and cannot be transferred to another individual. 

Renewal Short Pay Policy

If we only receive partial payment for a Member's annual renewal, we will contact the customer with payment options for the balance. Membership access may lapse in the interim. If the balance is not paid after 60 days, we will grant prorated access to their Membership based on the amount of the original payment. Partial renewal payments are treated like any other Membership payment - you can request a refund within 30 days of receipt of payment.
