General NASBA CPE Information

IOFM is an authorized provider of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits for CPAs who are licensed by NASBA. 

We offer CPE credit for our Member-exclusive Live Compliance Webinars and for IOFM Conferences only. NASBA CPE credit is NOT offered for any on-demand content or free sponsored webinars and white papers.

NASBA CPE credit is different than IOFM CEUs, which IOFM requires its own Certification-holders to earn. For more about CEUs for IOFM Certifications, visit the Maintaining Certification page. 

Live Compliance Webinars

Prerequisites: No prerequisites required. Level: Basic. Delivery Method: Group-Internet-Based. Advanced Preparation: None required. Field of Study: Taxes. Recommended CPE Credit: 1.5 CPE credits for 1 Live Compliance Webinar. Recordings of the program do not qualify for CPE credits.

Eligiblity Requirements

In order to receive NASBA CPE credit for a Live Compliance Webinar from IOFM, you must: 

1. Register for the webinar under your name/email
2. Watch the entire Live Compliance Webinar 
3. Indicate in the post-webinar survey that you are requesting 1.5 CPE credits from NASBA 
4. Correctly answer the CPE code words in the survey

If you do not meet the CPE eligibility requirements: 

• We are unable to grant CPE credit in cases in which participants were unable to fulfill the eligibility requirements for any reason, even if due to technical difficulties or other unforeseen circumstances.
• NASBA regulations prohibit CPE sponsors from distributing credit without being able to appropriately verify attendance. We appreciate your cooperation. 

Webinar CPE Certificates

IOFM uses a SimpleCert, a certificate management system, to deliver NASBA CPE certificates for our Live Compliance Webinars. If eligible for NASBA CPE credit, you will receive an email from [email protected] within 5 business days of the live webinar. 

Refund/Cancellation Policy

Business/Enterprise Members register for free, so no need to reach out for a refund/cancellation. Simply skip the live webinar. You will receive a link to the recording of the webinar, but unfortunately, this link is NOT eligible for CPE credit.

If you did pay a registration fee to attend this webinar, you can cancel your registration for this event for a full refund no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled start of the event. Simply contact us. 

If the webinar starts within the next 24 hours, you can access the full recorded event (which will not be eligible for NASBA CPE credit), or exchange your registration to a future Live Compliance Webinar. The full recorded event is typically emailed to all registrants within 2-3 business days of the webinar. Once the recording has been emailed out, you are no longer eligible for exchange.
