One issue that leaders must often cope with involves meetings. This advice comes from the Procure-to-Pay Manager Certification textbook:
“… a major issue for many managers is how many meetings they are invited to attend. Many of these may not be particularly relevant to you, or you may have been invited as a courtesy. Politely turn down the invitations you can and send a representative to others where your presence isn’t truly necessary. Only attend those you must!”
