Q. We (accounts payable for the company I work for) have made a payment to a 'vendor' that is classified as a LLC - Partnership on their W-9. The type of payment is a 'property loan.' We initially loaned money to the company for a property loan, and now they want to do construction on that property. We provide the money for that. It's considered an investment expense. My question is - Is this a reportable type payment, and if so, what form and what box? Also, if you can provide any publication…
