Reporting Attorney Fees and Expenses: What Goes on a 1099-NEC vs. 1099-MISC

Q. When attorneys send an invoice often it will included expenses in additional to the fees for their services. This could be things such as postage or court filing fees. I know that the fees for their services will be reportable on a 1099-NEC. The 1099-MISC Box 10 is supposed to be for other amounts paid to attorneys - so are the other items that they are charging for reportable? Or are the not reportable since they are a reimbursed expense? What if they have a flat fee for a court filing…
