Q. I work for a tribal government. We had a donation for a scholarship a couple of years ago. I'm sure the donor took a tax deduction on that donation. He has requested part of his donation back, and we are going to return this portion. Will this be 1099 reportable? If so, which box should this return be placed in? A.
