Q. We contracted with a US company that is an agent of a foreign music choir for the choir to perform on our University campus. Per the terms of the contract, we paid the US agent that is a sole proprietor per their W-9. We also obtained a W-8BEN-E from the foreign music choir that performed for us here in the US.
