Passive invoice approval threshold

Q. What invoice dollar value do you allow to be auto-posted by your system? I'm looking for benchmarking on what your company feels is material/impactful. Today, our company allows for a passive invoice approval up to $1,000 USD. We notify the Business Approver the invoice has been auto-approved on their behalf but also give them the opportunity to reject it if there is a problem with the invoice. I’d appreciate knowing how other organizations handle this.
