Q. We require actual receipts to reimburse employees for their meals. However, can we stipulate the maximum amount that we will reimburse with actual receipts?
We want to continue to reimburse an actual receipt if it is $35.00 or less, but if they submit a $50.00 dinner receipt, we want to put a $35.00 limit on reimbursement for dinner. In other words, even if they submit a $50.00 receipt, we will only reimburse it up to $35.00.
