Q. I'm not sure how to set up a company that is set up in the U.S. but billing us from London. I think a W-8 is needed. The vendor insists that only a W-9 is needed, but the invoice only has foreign address and foreign account for payment. On the invoice is verbiage that the foreign name is the practicing name of the U.S. entity. And the U.S. company is a "New York limited liability partnership and is authorized and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority under number…
