Recently, our organization received an IRS Form W-9 from a new supplier with whom we are working that stated their federal tax classification by checking the "Other" box and entering "Unincorporated Association."We are unfamiliar with this tax status, but the vendor confirmed this is how they are organized in a follow up communication.Is this a valid federal tax classification and, if so, what are the 1099 reporting implications?
