FIRE TCC codes

Q. Our FIRE TCC was issued on 1/19/23. The IRS website stated that if the TCC was obtained prior to 9/26/21, then the deadline for IR-TCC is 8/1/23. Since we just received it on 1/19/23 we did not think we had to reapply by 8/1/23. Since our FIRE TCC was issued on 1/19/23, will it work this year without having to do a new application?
