Q. I have gotten a few W-9 forms from new vendors whose entity is an Individual/sole proprietor or single-member LLC and the first line of the form is a company name but not an individual's name. Is this possible and do you have a source to explain what the difference between those three entity types when it comes to their tax reporting?
