Q. I encountered a situation where a vendor provided their updated TIN# only after the initial submission of the 1099-NEC to the IRS via the fire system. I promptly revised the TIN# to the new one and submitted a corrected file to the IRS. Additionally, I have dispatched corrected copies to the vendor.
