Q. We made a payment (>$600) to a vendor for a golf event. On their W-9, they selected the "Other" option in box 3 for tax classification, adding "Tribal Entity" only.  Do we need vendor to select an additional tax classification? If not, what tax classification would I need to use in our ERP set up for this vendor? Please confirm, Tribal Entities are NOT exempt from 1099 tax reporting. A.
