Q. If we have a vendor set up to receive a 1099 and they are acquired by a company mid year that is not 1099 eligible, how do you handle that as far as the 1099 goes? Would I no longer need to send a 1099 if the new company is a corp or would I still need to send the old company one for the period of time they were eligible?  A.
