1099 for a supplier that changed names mid-year

Q. If a supplier changes their name during the year but keeps the same Tax ID, do we need to send the end of year 1099 in the new name, the old name or one for each with the amount we paid under each name individually? Currently we enter a new supplier with the new name to enter the invoices in the new name and we deactivate the old supplier so at the end of the year we send on 1099 for the amount under the old name and one for the new name showing what we paid to that name. Again, Tax ID does…
