Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the rise of deep learning will change the way we work in the future. Talk of an eventual “return” to the way things were is unrealistic. Instead of preserving our tried-and-true ways of doing things, we must adapt and innovate quickly, to an ever-changing world.
Change is happening faster than ever before, and AI is leading to entirely new business efficiencies. Today, we’re seeing automated labor work alongside human labor and reinforce each other to make the combination even more productive. This is a world characterized not just by automation, but augmentation. And not just about replacement, but enhancement. How we work, where we work, and how we communicate will evolve in the age of AI. And as systems become smarter, the need for more human-centric solutions will take on greater urgency.
Increased automation will also require new management approaches, including the management of human and AI blended teams. Using macro sociocultural, economic, demographic, and technological trends as a catalyst, Erica will put these changes within a broader context and discuss how they will likely impact the AP and AR landscapes now, and in the years to come.
