Q. We have a vendor that provided a completed and signed W-9 form, but their EIN starts with 92, which makes me wonder if there's any withholding issue or if a 1099-NEC would just be issued if the service payment is over $600. Currently we are supposed to pay the vendor for a $90 service expense. The vendor checked the box "Individual/sole proprietor or single-member LLC" on the W-9 form. Their invoice lists a US address and they are asking us to process payment via ACH to a US bank…
